In Loving Memory of Maria Elsa Dutto September 27, 1938 – March 6, 2026 Maria Elsa Dutto, 87, passed away on March 6, 2026, leaving behind a life well-lived, well-loved, and always beautifully put together. Born in Morón Argentina, Maria carried her roots with her in everything she did. It was in Mar del Plata, along the coast she knew so well, that she met her husband, beginning a love story that would shape the rest of her life. Maria spent many dedicated years working at PNC Bank, where she built not just a career, but a reputation for being sharp, dependable, and quietly unforgettable. She carried herself with grace, a strong sense of self, and a touch of humor that made people feel at ease. But her most important role was always being a mother. She is survived by her two daughters, Andrea J. Dutto and Vanessa C. Cortez, who were the center of her world. When they were young, Maria made sure life was filled with moments that mattered, especially long days at the beach, where the sun, the water, and her laughter created memories that would last forever. Her love extended deeply into the next generations as well. Maria helped raise her grandson Nicholas D. Dutto, offering him steady guidance, unconditional love, and a presence he could always rely on. She also leaves behind her grandson Anjel C. Cortez, and her great-grandson Noah A. Dutto, who was born in July of 2021, a new life that brought light and joy to her later years. In the last few years of her life, Maria was cared for closely by her eldest daughter Andrea J. Dutto, who stayed by her side and took exceptional care of her. Alongside her, Andrea’s lifelong partner, Richard K. Biela, also played a significant role in helping care for Maria. That time was filled with love, patience, and devotion, a reflection of the same care Maria had given throughout her life. Outside of family, Maria found peace in her garden, tending to it with patience and pride. She loved makeup, not out of vanity, but as her own form of self-expression. To Maria, looking good was about feeling good, even on the simplest days. And of course, her cats, her constant companions, lived lives of pure comfort under her watch. They were loved endlessly, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way. Maria was a woman of strength and softness, of routine and quiet glamour. She didn’t need to say much to teach you something, her life spoke for her. She showed what it meant to care deeply, stand firm, and still find beauty in the everyday. She will be deeply missed, endlessly remembered, and forever loved. Somewhere, there’s a garden growing just right, and she’s there, making sure everything, including herself, is exactly as it should be.
