Samuel A Haynes, Jr.

March 18, 1947 - May 12, 2016

Samuel 69, returned to God’s loving arms on May 12, 2016 at his residence in Newark, N.J., surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 18, 1947 in Tarboro, N.C., to the late Samuel A. Haynes, Sr. and Frances B. Exam. He resided in Newark, East Orange and Hillside, New Jersey most of his life, during his working years he was employed by New Jersey State Department of Personal for thirty seven years before retiring in 2002; and also worked for United States Postal Service. He was Member, Usher, Trustee and Male Choir Member at Union Baptist Church in Passaic, NJ. Sam was predeceased by one sister Iris Murray. Sam leaves to cherish his loving memory and legacy his beloved wife Doreen (Draughon) Haynes of Newark, N.J., three sons Ismail Abdur-Rahmn (Hadji) of Saudi Arabia, Darnell Haynes of Union, N.J., Kyle Royce Draughon Haynes of Newark, N.J, One daughter Johari Perez of Elizabeth, N.J. One son–in-law Edward Perez of Elizabeth, N.J., two daughters–in-laws Tanya Abdur-Rahman of Texas and Haadiya Clow of Albany, N.Y. He is also survived by one brother Ronald Haynes of East Orange, N.J. Five sister-in laws Marlene Jackson of Supply, N.C., Melanie Draughon of Palmrya N.J., Sandra Draughon of Jersey City, N.J., Norma Draughon of Irvington N.J. and Angela Draughon ( Scions) of Garland TX. Three brother-in laws Henry Draughon of Garland, TX., Glenn Draughon of Clayton, N.C., and Randall Draughon of Rutherford, N.J. Godson Brevan Hampden and Goddaughter Peyton Doughty. Sam leaves a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral Arrangements by The Madonna Multinational Home for Funerals, Inc.
