Barbara Jean (Smith) Wilkes 80 years of Passaic, N.J. returned to God's loving arms on June 25, 2016 at Hamilton Plaza Nursing Home of Passaic, NJ. She was born to the late Walter Smith and Colossie Gregory on July 11, 1935 in Pacolet, S.C. Ms. Barbara resided in East Orange, NJ for 6 years, relocating in Passaic, NJ where she lived for over 50 years. She was a faithful member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Passaic, NJ; where she was member of Usher Board and Choir. She was Teacher at Guidence Guild Nursery for over thirty years, and Rainbow Day Care of Passaic, NJ for fifteen years, retiring in 2001 also worked at Babyland in Newark for two years.
