***** UNFORTUNATELY BURIAL CANCELLED FOR TOMORROW SATURDAY MORNING********* Algernon Jason Lee aka “Buzz” 52 of Newark New Jersey, returned to God’s loving arms on Saturday April 30,2022, He was the owner operator of Alimo’s “Better Music and Clothing for 16 years. He was presently employed as a long-haul truck driver for the Daybreak Express Trucking Company, Newark, NJ. He was a contract driver for the US Postal Service. Algernon overcame various obstacles and made a difference in the City of Newark. NJ. He was always willing to help someone. Not only did he receive his high school diploma but graduated from Essex County Community College with an Associate Degree in Business in 2008, Then Algernon furthered his education by attending and graduating from Smith and Solomon Truck Driving School, Linden, NJ in 2010, with his CDL License and Hazmat certification. Algernon was the beacon of his family which he always put first. He was a diehard Pittsburg Steelers Fan, loved to go on fishing trips with his brother and nephew. He loved to have an enjoyable time with family and friends. Algernon was predeceased by his parents James and Myrtle Lee. He Survived by his Loving wife Marybeth Lee, who he called “Beth,” three devoted daughters Mona, Rakeisha, and Muriel Lee all of Newark, New Jersey, His hearts Joy, granddaughter Abriel Mack of Newark, NJ. 2 sisters Madonna, of Passaic and Ethel Boggan, of Garfield, NJ, 1 Brother William McCallum (Kim) of Chesapeake, Va. His Mother-in-Law, Edmona Livermore, of Virginia, Father-in-Law Freddie Grady, Newark, NJ, Sister in Laws, Roxanne Irving- Ollivierre (Vincent) of Maryland, Gladys McKinney, Newark, NJ, Blanche Todd, New Jersey. Brother in Laws, Freddie McKinney of Maryland, Ravon McKinney, of Paterson, NJ. His nephew whom he loved as a brother Maurice Wilson (Shawna) of Paterson, NJ, Special Cousin, Stephanie Bryant of Passaic, NJ. He leaves a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and Cousins and Great Nieces and Nephews. who loved him and who he loved dearly in return.
