Aldon Leonidas Odom entered into eternal rest on Saturday March 19,2022 at Complete Care Nursing home of Paterson, NJ. He was born in Jackson, North Carolina on July 16, 1939. He resided in Passaic for 60 years since 1959. Mr. Odom was a US Marine serving from 1960 - 1966. He was a member of Mt Hope Baptist Church of Jackson, North Carolina and resident of the Greater Passaic- Clifton Community Center formerly known as the Men's YMCA for over 27 years. He was the front desk person at the YMCA for many many years. He was a Caddy for Montclair Golf Course for 40 years. He is survived by 1 son Reginald "Reggie" Odom of Paterson and daughter in law Michelle Lovelace of Paterson 1 brother Irving Richardson of Paterson 1 sister in law Frances Alston of Paterson 1 brother in law Bobby Alston of Newark 2 nieces Mia and Tia Odom 2 nephews Leonard B. Odom Eric Odom Grand daughter Tasia Holdman Great grand daughter Tristen Holdman of New Milford NJ Grandson Vaughn and grand daughter Leah Great grandson Xavion Holdman of Easton, Pa A host of cousins, family, and friends Preceded in death by the love of his life Lois Alston. 2 sons Ricardo Hightower and Raymond Alston 1 daughter Patricia Alston & his Parents John and Alberta Odom
